PVA is a new interesting print material witch dissolves in water. Is´s great
to use as a support material when you are printing with a dualextruder printer.
Just print the support material with PVA on of the extruders and once finished
put the printed object in warm water for a couple of hours and then viola! The
support material PVA has disappeared!
Printer temperature is around 180 - 210 °C
0.50 KG of PVA on a spool. Total weight including the plastic spool 0.80kg
Comes in a sealed bag with desiccant.
PVA is very sensitive to water and humidity. When not using the material you
should always store in the sealable bag it comes in together with the Silica
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH, PVA, or PVAL) is a water-soluble synthetic polymer
hydrolysed from polyvinyl acetate.
PVA is fully degradable and is a quick dissolver. PVA has a glass transition
temperature of around 85°C (185F), but this temperature depends on the polymer's
degree of hydrolysation (ratio of alcohol groups to acetate groups)
